Express Entry is an online system of managing applications for permanent residence. It is a two-stage process. In first stage an applicant is required to be an eligible for express entry under one of these programs, Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trade Program or Canadian Experience Class. In second stage, based on Comprehensive Ranking System Points, if an applicant is invited to apply for permanent residence, he/she will have 90 days to do so.

Parent and Grandparent super visa is a multi-entry visa that provides multiple entries for a period up to 10 years. An individual can stay for up to two years on initial entry into Canada, without the need to renew his/her status.

If an applicant is nominated by a province or territory based on their immigration streams and categories, 600 points will be added to applicant’s express entry profile.

To become a Canadian citizen, you must

What your friend or family member needs depends on:
⦁ the type of travel document they will travel with;
⦁ the country that issued their travel document;
⦁ their nationality; and
⦁ how they will travel to Canada.

If they need a visitor visa, you may provide your family member or friend with a letter of invitation in support of their visa application. A letter of invitation can help, but it does not guarantee the person will get a visa.
